So, first entry - what do you say in a Blog? It will be nice to have an outlet for my business frustrations since being an at-home working Mom has just a few@#$#! Not to mention an outlet for all the Mommy problems too! Today, we had dance class, which didn't go that well. I usually love dance class and so does Maya, but today, she was a little needy and wanted me to hold her the whole time. I felt the other Mommies staring at me like,"What's going on? Do something!" I think they were looking at me sympathetically, but I wasn't sure. Daddy has been away for 8 days now, so maybe she's feeling something?? Switching gears, I've been looking at my business on an overall basis the past year or so. It's so much work and it takes so long before a business shows a consistent profit. When I started this business, my youngest was 2 and by the time I got initial samples, she was a little too old to begin using a kindersack. Some nights she would go in fine (and sleep great too!) Other nights she would say, "NO WEAR KINDERSACK!" Uh...you're the owner's daughter - that language is not allowed. So, for the past 8 years, I've been hearing from so many parents how invaluable they find baby sleeping sacks. I had to trust them, so I kept investing in the product blindly without personal evaluation. But, now, I have almost 3 years of solid proof the product works! My "research department" is almost 3 now and she has been wearing kindersacks to bed the whole time. I was so nervous when I started using the product; I thought, "What if I find out I've been investing our life's savings on something the baby won't even use?? I am pleased to report; however, that it really does work! Some nights, she fusses, but she really does calm down once in her kindersack. Phewww. Bottom line: When I do my taxes, I truly wonder, "What am I doing this for?" But, then, I get a wonderful testimonial from a happy Mom whose baby slept through the night wearing their kindersack and it makes it all worth while!
